Dennis Linthicum Endorsement - Secretary of State 2024

The Young Republicans of Oregon is honored to announce the endorsement of Republican candidate Dennis Linthicum for his election to Oregon Secretary of State.

He has an unmatched wealth of knowledge that will help improve the many needed changes in the Secretary of State's Office, including restoring election integrity and an end to unconstitutional spying on Oregon citizens.Senator Linthicum has been a lifelong advocate of liberty throughout his career and during his legislative tenure.

In 2023, Sen. Linthicum was one of ten senators who participated in an historic walkout protesting radical leftist measures on several issues, including gun rights and abortion. Unfortunately, his courageous actions cost him his career as a Senator and led to his disqualification for re-election for Senate District 28 in 2024, the seat for which his wife Diane is now a candidate and that the YRO has also endorsed.

As a Senator, Sen. Linthicum has been a strong advocate on behalf of the younger generations of our state.

Whenever the YRO plans a visit to the Oregon Legislature, Sen. Linthicum would always take the time out of his busy schedule to educate our members on the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and other important  documents throughout history that has woven the very foundation of our strength as a country.

He has provided us each with many complimentary books and pamphlets to continue our own education as an investment in the future of Oregon.

He is always the best highlight of our tours at the State Capitol and we look forward to visiting him again soon in his new role as our next Secretary of State.
